Presently, he serves as a lecturer at Department of Information Systems, University of Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ). He instructs courses in Basic Mathematical Logic, Database Systems, Knowledge Management, Information Security, and Network Administration. He encourages his students to devise intelligent solutions for information system challenges, emphasizing the role of mathematics in understanding and overcoming these challenges.
Previously, he held a position at Surya College of Education (STKIP Surya) in 2013, where he lectured in the Mathematics Education Program Study and Information Communication Technology Education. Additionally, he served as the Vice Chairman for General Administration. He also gained experience in the Japanese industry. In 2006, he worked as a system analyst on software development for mobile phones in NEC Company Projects, overseeing the design, integration, and implementation of algorithms. Later, he joined the University of Tsukuba e-learning project, focusing on the development of database systems in 2010. Subsequently, in 2012, he worked as a system developer on a project involving database management systems for data searching and security access control at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, KEK - Japan.
Drawing from his educational and industry background, he is particularly interested in research related to developing algorithms for database systems, specifically in areas like query processing and query optimization.
