Graduate Profile

The graduates of the Information Systems Department at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya are expected to be able to work as:

  • ICT / Information System employees: employed in ICT departments or divisions, both in private businesses and in civil service, from the level of staff to the level of managers.
  • Communication Administrator: operates messaging systems (hardware and software) such as handheld devices, messaging apps, internet social media, blogs and email systems.
  • Database Administrators: manage, monitor and maintain company databases (including backup and recovery), perform studies to suggest improvements, enhancements and adjustments to data and data structures.
  • Entrepreneur / Technopreneur in the field of System / Application Developers: Business Application Solution Developers, develop software application designed to meet the needs of an enterprise or institution.
  • Information Systems (SI) and Information Technology (IT) Consultants: Professionals, either independently or in a consulting firm, offer guidance or technical assistance on strategic and organizational issues to clients in need.
  • Educators (teachers / instructors): delivering IS and IT training through formal and informal education to improve competency, expertise, and human resource skills related to information technology.
